Paris for Antique Lovers

With Sharon Santoni

Overview

Led by Sharon Santoni, it offers a carefully curated look into Paris’ antiques world, from iconic markets to discreet dealers known only to those who have spent years building relationships.

Antique paintings hang on the walls and rest on wooden easels in a French antique shop.

Antique dinner china lines a large wooden table, surrounded by colourful crystal glasses, candle stick holders, and plants.

Over the course of the journey, we explore Paris’ best-known marchés alongside lesser-known addresses. We also spend a day in the French countryside, visiting a beautiful château and a selection of carefully chosen antique shops, adding depth and context to the Paris experience.

Throughout the tour, Sharon shares her knowledge of French antiques, interiors, and sourcing, along with practical advice on buying and shipping. It’s an experience shaped by curiosity, patience, and the pleasure of discovering pieces that feel right, whether for your home or your business.

Highlights

From lively neighbourhoods to quieter corners, Paris invites you to wander, observe, and take things in at your own pace.

Our Paris journey is rooted in the 6th arrondissement, one of the city’s most historic and cultured neighbourhoods. Long associated with writers, artists, and thinkers, it remains a place of calm refinement; elegant streets, family-run cafés, independent bookshops, and a rhythm that feels distinctly Parisian.

Paris is a city where architecture, culture, food, and craftsmanship are inseparable. Walking along the Seine, sitting at a café terrace, or exploring a neighbourhood on foot, you begin to understand its character, not through monuments alone, but through moments. It’s this balance of history and everyday life that makes Paris endlessly appealing, and a place people return to again and again.

WHAT ARE PEOPLE SAYING

Our recommended hotel for the tour

L’Abbaye, Saint Germain

For this tour, participants are invited to arrange their own accommodation.

We recommend staying at Hôtel de l’Abbaye, located in the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Prés. Tucked away behind wrought-iron gates on a quiet street, the hotel feels like a hidden retreat, with its private garden and calm atmosphere just steps from the energy of the Left Bank.

Set within a former convent, the property has retained much of its original character, offering a more classic and understated Parisian style.

This is simply a recommendation, and you are of course free to stay wherever you prefer. That said, we do strongly recommend choosing accommodation in the 6th arrondissement, as Place Saint-Sulpice will be our meeting point each morning.
