Hotel Les Prés
Nestled in the heart of the Perche countryside, Les Prés is a beautifully restored country house that feels more like staying in the home of close friends than in a traditional hotel. Once a hunting lodge and later a private residence, the property has been thoughtfully reimagined by its owners, Stéphane Renaud and Éric Brossard, while preserving its timeless character.
With just nine individually designed bedrooms, the atmosphere is intimate, peaceful and wonderfully personal. The house opens onto a beautiful park of century-old trees, with the River Hoëne gently flowing below, while vegetable gardens, quiet terraces and elegant sitting rooms invite guests to slow down and enjoy the simple pleasures of country life.

We’re thrilled to be co-hosting this tour with Franck Schmitt, a talented photographer, journalist, and author with a passion for gardens, interiors, cuisine, and the French art de vivre. After 20 years in editorial roles — including 12 years as editor-in-chief of top lifestyle magazines — Franck has built a rich career creating visual stories for leading publications such as Marie Claire Idées, Campagne Décoration, and My French Country Home Magazine.
With his background in both hospitality and journalism, Franck brings a unique perspective to every destination, and his deep love and knowledge of Le Perche make him the perfect companion for this journey.
