The French Riviera is more than its breathtaking coastline; it’s a mosaic of picturesque villages, each radiating a timeless charm and unique character, waiting to be discovered.
Traveling in France is a passion we’ve nurtured for decades, and the French Riviera, in particular, holds a special place in our heart, not for its grand gestures but for the quiet moments found in its villages. Each has its own rhythm and charm, its own stories etched into cobbled streets and sunlit squares.

Èze
Perched high on a rocky hill, Èze is often called the “Eagle’s Nest” for its incredible views of the Mediterranean. The village, located between Nice and Monaco, feels like stepping back in time. As you wander through its narrow cobblestone streets and climb its stone staircases, you’ll find artisan shops, quaint cafes, and even a beautiful botanical garden.
The Exotic Garden of Èze, situated at the village’s highest point, offers breathtaking views alongside a collection of cacti, succulents, and sculptures. It’s a bit of a climb, but the view of the sea, the coast, and even the island of Corsica on clear days is absolutely worth it. Don’t forget to visit the Fragonard Perfume Factory to learn how fragrances are made and perhaps take home a bottle of their locally inspired scents.
