Paris has always had a love affair with flowers and some of the city’s florists have turned the art of the bouquet into poetry.
When in Paris, we always make time to step inside a flower shop or two. Not only because we adore flowers (who doesn’t?), but because in this city, floral design feels closer to an art form than a trade. Each shop has its own spirit, some timeless, some bold and contemporary, others romantic and bohemian and each bouquet tells a story.
Over the years, we’ve discovered a handful of flower shops that we love to return to. These are not just boutiques; they are little universes where creativity blooms. Today, we want to share a few of our favourites with you; places that inspire us, that surprise us, and that remind us why Paris is so endlessly magical.

Debeaulieu – The Bold and Unexpected
At Debeaulieu, the traditional bouquet is turned on its head. Walking through the door feels like stepping into a cabinet of curiosities, where forgotten flowers are given a second life and surprising combinations bloom into something entirely new. It’s here that you’ll find roses in unexpected shades, wild stems dancing alongside orchids, or vases that are as much part of the design as the flowers themselves. This is floral design with attitude, contemporary, daring, and utterly captivating.

Maison Ciero – Local, Seasonal, Responsible
If Debeaulieu feels theatrical, Maison Ciero feels thoughtful and poetic. Romain Pilato and his team are committed to sourcing only seasonal French flowers; an ethic that makes each bouquet feel deeply connected to time and place. We love the sense of rhythm here: sweet peas in spring, dahlias in late summer, delicate roses in autumn. Every visit is different, and every arrangement feels like a love letter to French growers and to the seasons themselves.

Muse – Poetry in Bloom
Stepping into Muse is like entering a lyrical composition. Majid, the creator, draws inspiration from mythology, music, and his Persian roots to create bouquets that are architectural, baroque, and almost symphonic. The arrangements are bold, asymmetrical, and theatrical, yet always balanced with a quiet elegance. Muse is not just a florist, it’s an atelier where flowers sing.

Maison Vertumne – Sharon’s Favourite
This is the place Sharon always recommends when friends ask her where to buy flowers in Paris. Maison Vertumne has a style that is free, natural, and full of charm. It includes meadow flowers, loose garden-style bouquets, and compositions that feel almost like they’ve just been gathered in the countryside. There’s something delightfully wild about their work, bouquets that whisper of romance and spontaneity.

L’Arrosoir Paris – Timeless Charm
With its antique mouldings, ivy creeping across tables, and bouquets placed into old suitcases, L’Arrosoir feels like stepping back in time. This century-old florist in the 11th arrondissement has an atmosphere that is both nostalgic and alive. Adrienne, the owner, has a gift for blending rustic wildflowers with dramatic baroque compositions. It’s the kind of place you enter just to soak up the atmosphere and inevitably leave with an armful of blooms.

Désirée – A Café-Florist With a Mission
Désirée is more than a flower shop, it’s also a café and a manifesto. Founded by two women passionate about supporting French horticulture, Désirée works exclusively with locally grown flowers. You can sip a coffee and enjoy a slice of cake while surrounded by seasonal blooms, knowing that every stem has been responsibly sourced. It’s modern, convivial, and rooted in a sense of community.
