The Best Exhibitions to See in Paris This Winter (2025–2026)

©Louvre Paris

Paris never slows down in winter. From grand museums to quiet foundations tucked into the city’s side streets, new exhibitions open every season and each one brings a different way to rediscover the city.

Winter is one of our favourite moments to enjoy Paris. The city feels calmer, the cafés are full, and it suddenly becomes the perfect time to catch up on exhibitions. Paris always has something happening; a new show at the Louvre, a surprising installation at the Bourse de Commerce, or a fashion exhibition you end up thinking about for days.

This winter, the lineup is genuinely great, with big names and smaller discoveries all over the city. If you’re planning a trip to Paris, or already here and looking for ideas, these are the exhibitions we think are worth seeing.

Until 26 January 2026

A poetic, sensory exhibition dedicated to Lygia Pape, a pioneer of the Brazilian avant-garde. The centrepiece is the immersive installation Ttéia 1, C, where copper wires and light create moving geometric forms that shift as you walk. Alongside this work, the show presents engravings, films, and pieces that explore Pape’s lifelong dialogue between art, politics, and public space. It’s a calm, contemporary counterpoint to the more classical exhibitions of the season.
