“From the moment we arrived, everything was beautifully curated. The gardens were breathtaking, the food was divine, and the chance to visit private homes and meet the owners added such a personal, privileged touch. I came home with not just memories, but new friendships I’ll treasure. Thank you, Sharon and team, for showing us the real France.”

Tour host
Amy has had the wonderful opportunity to live, work, and travel throughout France for the past 30 years. Her passion for flowers, plants, and the French Art de Vivre has led her to a career that combines her keen interest and vast experience with plants & gardens together with her knowledge and understanding of France.
Since 2005, she has been guiding individuals and groups, including the Pacific Horticulture Society and the New York Botanical Garden, on tours through public and private gardens in Paris, Normandy, Brittany, the Loire River Valley, the South of France, and Tuscany. A true rose-lover, she has also had the honour of becoming a permanent jury member of the Bagatelle Rose Commission in 2009.
Between the late 19th and early 20th centuries, the French Riviera became the canvas for Europe’s most talented garden designers. Attracted by the unique light, mild winters, and the Riviera’s fashionable society, they created extraordinary gardens for aristocrats, artists, and collectors. These gardens are more than just beautiful, they are living witnesses to an era of creativity, elegance, and international exchange.
