This tour will be the first time that we offer a MFCH tour outside of France. Our motivation of course is flowers and gardens! We are teaming up with our friend Lucy Hunter to offer a special trip that will include a visit to the Chelsea Flower Show early on the first day. After a day in London, we head to the Cotswolds, where we will enjoy memorable visits to some of England’s most beautiful gardens.
We also have the honour of being joined by Shane Connolly, florist to the Royal family, who will create a floral display for us and also make arrangements for us to enjoy a private visit to the gardens of King Charles at Highgrove. Award-winning garden designer, author and floral artist, Lucy Hunter has already exhibited her own designs at the Chelsea Show. She has published two best-selling books and tours the world talking about her particular style of arranging flowers, and ‘bringing the outside inside’. Lucy is a long-time friend of MFCH, and has already accompanied several of our tours to Provence in Southern France. For this tour, we are on her home territory, and she will open her address book for us as we tour the beautiful gardens of the Cotswolds.

There are two parts to the accommodation for this special tour. To begin with, we will stay in London, and meet up for our welcome dinner, the evening before we visit the Chelsea Flower Show.
For the London stay, we suggest that each of our guests chooses their hotel provided it is close to Chelsea. We’ll be happy to give you a list of recommendations.
On the morning of the second day, we will pick you up from your hotel along with your baggage and take you to the Cotswolds. We have reserved rooms for you at a beautiful countryside manor hotel. It has a stunning design in a typically British style and is perfectly positioned for visiting the region.
