Gardens, Antique

This is a region that is rich in history, and visually breathtaking. The lush valleys, the rivers, small stone-built villages, and stunning gardens make every day a pleasure as we tour the region.  We are privileged to have private access to some of the most beautiful gardens in the region, and we get to tour them in the company of their owners and creators. This tour is a must for any garden lover.

Tour highlights

This is a garden tour first and foremost. During our 6 days together, we will enjoy private tours of 5 beautiful properties. The Dordogne region has a rich history in gorgeous gardens and we are privileged to be welcomed by the owners who personally show us around their homes and the gardens that they have so passionately created over the years. History is another important aspect to visiting the area, and we include a guided visit to several of the oldest chateaux of Dordogne.

Tour Leader

Garden Specialist:
AMY KUPEC

Amy has had the wonderful opportunity to live, work, and travel throughout France for the past 30 years. Her passion for flowers, plants, and the French Art de Vivre has led her to a career that combines her keen interest and vast experience with plants & gardens together with her knowledge and understanding of France. Since 2005, she has been guiding individuals and groups, including the Pacific Horticulture Society and the New York Botanical Garden, on tours through public and private gardens in Paris, Normandy, Brittany, the Loire River Valley, the South of France, and Tuscany. A true rose-lover, she has also had the honor of becoming a permanent jury member of the Bagatelle Rose Commission in 2009.
